Centralised or Server Based Telephone Call Recorders - for recording 2 or more people

Specialised recorder units that capture and store telephone calls from multiple telephone lines concurrently. The smallest starts with the ability to record 2 telephone lines.

Where do they connect?

These multi-channel telephone recorders connect somewhere between your telephone wall socket and your comms room (the place where your BT or cable outside lines come into the building), in the comms room on the extensions side of your PBX or on the BT side of your PBX.

How do they store and replay calls?

Centralised Recorders usually contain a hard disk for storing calls and the ability to save calls to the network or a dedicated PC. Sometimes they offer a CD or DVD for additional storage of calls. Usually when a multi-line recorder uses up all its internal hard disk storage and CD storage it automatically records over the earliest recordings.

Which centralised recorder is right for me?

To help you decide try our Choosing the Right Centralised Server Based Recorder section. It gives tips on working out storage requirements and which system options are available.

This on-line shop offers recorders with the capacity to record up to 4 lines. All multi-channel recorders on this site are self-install.

If you wish to record more than 8 telephone lines now or will do in the next year go to www.businesssystemsuk.co.uk for information on centralised server based recorders that can record analogue and/or digital - these systems are not self-install and prices start at approx £6000.

Our Customers Say...
"I do a lot of work on the phone. Interviewees are not concerned when told that the conversation is being recorded, especially, as it means that they will be quoted accurately."
